If, like me, you are travelling this holiday season – for pleasure or to join friends and family – spare a thought for those who are undocumented, those who are stateless and those who are denied the opportunity to take that journey, to take a break from daily life, or to join friends and family in distant corners of the world.
Let us renew our commitment in 2019 to increase the number of people with legal identity and to reduce statelessness and mitigate its damaging effects.
